PEAS
A few weeks ago I planted a few seeds in a big flower pot, watered them, waited, and today I have ...
Sweet, tender, beautiful PEAS!
Eaten freshly picked and warm from the garden, they taste nothing like the peas from the freezer. It's hard to believe these are the same vegetable you get in those horrid cans.
There's only one problem. I can't stop eating them as I pick them. I should have planted more peas!

How lovely! I agree that peas eaten straight from the pod taste fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThe best!
DeleteI am so with you on this!!! My beans love peas! We planted them in the front garden this year and while we were out playing they would just walk by and grab a couple! Your photos are gorgeous! And you are so right! Fresh is best! Nicole
ReplyDeleteThank Nicole... more people (grown-ups and children) would eat more veg if they would grow their own. All it takes is a flower pot or two. : )
DeleteHi Debs if you love your peas go over to peas.org you can get 2 free recipe books, I got some this week in the post and they are really good, x
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Thanks, I'll do that right now. : )x
