Almost Wordless Wednesday - CHARD

 My next door neighbour just knocked on the door and handed me a bag full of these jewel-like beauties... CHARD!  

I almost feel guilty about eating them...almost!

      I made a raw chard salad with croutons, some grated cheese, and a balsamic dressing. It was delicious!

    Oh wow, we grew some last year & they were so beautiful to look at … not bad in a salad either. I will be planting some more again ….
