Almost Wordless Wednesday - Branscombe Cottages
The previous post was all about Branscombe beach. This one is all about the tiny lane lined with beautiful cottages that leads to Branscombe. Notice how these cottages have almost no land in front of them but all are framed by brilliant flowers and shrubs. Enjoy!
Gorgeous photos. They are such a change from most of the front gardens around me that don't have much planting at all.
ReplyDeleteThanks! : D The amazing thing is there is NO garden to speak of...only about 24 inches between the road surface and the cottages.
DeleteJoli village.
ReplyDeleteTres joli! : D
DeleteI love these photos. It is so typical English, when we visit England we always make photos of these pittoresque front walls with often lovely hanging baskets.
ReplyDeleteThey amaze me how many flowers they can grow in such a small space. Anything goes...maybe that should be anything grows! : D
DeleteBeautiful !
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat your cottages were today! I would be in heaven walking about there! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead! Nicole
