Crash, Bang, Wallop Waffles!
I woke up wanting waffles, really wanting waffles, like NOW! So I have devised a waffle recipe so quick and easy to make, the batter will be ready before the waffle iron is hot!
Begin by plugging in the waffle iron so it will be hot and ready for this super fast batter.
In a mixing bowl place the following ingredients:
1 cup self-rising flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk or water
1 egg
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
Stir all together and follow the instructions for your waffle iron to make the waffles.
That's it! No sifting, no egg white whipping and only one bowl to wash up. Crash, bang, wallop...WAFFLES! Wow, that was fast!
*This recipe made 8 single waffles.
