Bacon and Cheese Brunch Rolls
Has this ever happened to you? It's the weekend, you've slept too late for breakfast but wake ravenously hungry and can't wait until lunch. Here is something that might be just what you need, Bacon and Cheese Brunch Rolls.
- 1 packet of ready-rolled puff pastry -use the all butter kind--Delish!
- Four rashers of Back Bacon or Canadian Bacon
- Cheddar Cheese - grated, about 1/2 cup or as much as you like
- 1 egg
Brush the tops of the pastry with a beaten egg to make the finished rolls shiny and extra crispy. Bake for about 20 - 25 minutes or until the pastry is puffed up and golden. Place rolls on a wire rack for a few minutes to let the molten cheese cool to eating temperature then- READY, STEADY, MUNCH!
These are great for picnics and packed lunches but I like them best hot from the oven!
